AMC Case Study
AMC as part of its sales process met with a large media company to discuss opportunities for merchandising services and as a result were placed on that company's potential vendor list.
Two days after that meeting, an unexpected called was received from the media company saying that their current supplier had failed to supply previously agreed merchandising services and could AMC help them out at such short notice.
With such an opportunity from a high profile company, AMC resources were deployed immediately to try to provide a solution to this situation.
With a national data base of merchandisers and electronic reporting systems in place, the task was less daunting than it would have appeared without these advanced systems.
Manpower was provided to all locations within the original time frame so the merchandising of AMC's new client was completed on time, within budget and it appeared seamless to the supermarket chains involved. A win win for all concerned.
AMC enjoys an ongoing relationship with this client that started over 4 years ago as a result of a cold sales call.
